In my previous blog, I have discussed bullying and its negative effects on teens. In this blog, I am going to discuss another important form of bullying which is cyber bullying. Sudden abnormal changes in the behavior of a teen can make the parents really concern about the situation.
But as a parents of a teen if you can realize that changes are quite unusual. Then there is a need of taking the situation in a quite serious manner. Behind this abnormal behavior of teen there can be several reasons. But according to the expert’s cyber bullying can be one of the primary reasons.

What do you mean by Cyber-bullying?

Cyber bullying is the advanced form of bullying, in which electronic devices like mobile phones, tablets, and laptops are mainly used. Social media platforms, common gaming chat rooms act as an important source of cyber bullying.
The main objective of cyber bullying among teens is too harsh someone by posting private information about others. Cyber bullying includes sharing of various negative things about the person. Ultimately cyber bullying results in social embarrassment and humiliation. Sometimes the cyber bullying crosses all the limits and it becomes an unlawful practice.

So keep a strong watch on all the online activities being performed by your kid.

·         Look out for various signs of cyber bullying:

The victims of cyber bullying use to come up with a lot of signs and warnings which should be recognize by parents as early as possible. Otherwise, the teen has to suffer a lot in the future.

·         Provide proper mental support:

Teens suffering from cyber bullying requires a lot of mental support to recover themselves from the trauma of cyber bullying. As we all know that parents act as a one of the biggest sources of mental support and inspiration for teens.
·         Keep records of cyber bullying:

Always try to keep a record of cyber bullying if your teen is suffering from it. Especially in case of cyber bullying, evidence and records are mandatory before lodging a complaint to the police.
